Youth Emphasis Day

July 21, 2018 9:15 AM

Join us as the youth lead us in worshipping together to give glory to God - from Sabbath School at 9:15 a.m. to Divine Service at 11:00 a.m. Guest Speaker: Pastor Matthew Feeley, from Toronto. He will speak on the sermon entitled "Trending Up When Life is trending Down." 
The sermon is about the life of Joseph. It focusses on the problems of Joseph in contrast to the purpose of God. Joseph persevered through the presence, providence and purpose of God.


In the afternoon, come back for the Crafts of Hope AY program at 5:30 p.m, and participate in writing brief notes of encouragement.

Sunday Prayer Group

Wednesday Night Prayer Meeting

High School, College & University Graduation Ceremony

On July 28, join us at 5:30 p.m. for the Annual Graduation Ceremony as we recognize and celebrate with the 2018 junior high, high school, college and university graduates. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall.

Men's Day

The Men’s Ministries Department of the Ottawa Adventist Church invites the men of the church community to its first annual Men's Day - a celebration by men, for men, about men.  This will be an opportunity for the men to get to know each other better instead of the usual "How was your week?"  The date is Sunday, July 29 and it will take place at the Alexanders residence beginning at 1:00 p.m. with a potluck lunch. 

 

There will be a special guest speaker as well as games to close out the day.  If you are a golfer, tee times have been reserved beginning at 8:30 a.m.  Kindly contact Michael Alexander at Michael.alexander@rogers.com or at 613-862-1221 to reserve your spot for golfing.  

Youth Emphasis Day

Every Second Sabbath of the month is Youth Emphasis Day. Join us as the youth lead us in worshipping together to give glory to God - from Sabbath School at 9:15 a.m. to Divine Service at 11:00 a.m.

​After Divine Service, stay and fellowship over the LUNCH in the church fellowship hall.

In the evening, come back for a dynamic youth program.

Come this weekend and meet new youth and reunite with old ones.
